Great things happen when you step outside your comfort zone.

I LOVE selfies and photo shoots, but video is different story for me. It take a few minutes for me to feel comfortable in front of the camera, I don't like the way my mouth moves, and it requires many, many takes before I'm satisfied with the results. Somehow, this interview was different. I finished it at my own pace, I changed locations after the introduction, and of course, I waited until the last minute to get it all done (that's my MO).

I was introduced to LAMA App after I received an email asking if I was interested in being interviewed. Uhh... HECK Yeah! I can't turn down an interview even if I am video shy, because right now the goal is growth and increasing expose for SavvynSocial. So, I went through the questions, formulated well thought out answers, and hit record. I started the intro at my office and finished at my home office because I wasn't completely comfortable with people walking by presumably wondering what I was doing. After recording a series of 5 videos for 5 questions, I took a deep breath and hit submit. Uploaded! A week later, I received an email stating Lama would like to feature my interview on their site. What?! Okay. The next day, I saw my video on their LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter feeds, and of course I reposted, retweeted, and shared. Now, I'm sharing my interview here!
