SavvynSocial 2017 Client Review

They say the first year is always the hardest. Well, I can say that 2017 was pretty good to SavvynSocial. I am 2 months shy of my 1 year anniversary, and I want to thank all my amazing clients, friends, family, and tribe for all your support.

Managing social media is something that requires consistency, time, a little bit of creativity, apps and cloud storage. Measuring success can be a little subjective, but the numbers speak for themselves.

Business owners don't have time to analyze their social media accounts, worry about their SEO, or create content to add to their posts. They want to simply focus on delivering their core services, and my clients leave the rest up to SavvynSocial. Let's review how I've grown my clients' business in 2017.

My personal hair stylist, Timberlin Oden @TimberlinOden, has shown

major growth in her Instagram account over the past 11 months. When I started managing her Instagram account (February 5, 2017) there were 631 followers with less than 2000 impressions and a reach of 700. Today (December 30, 2017) she has 1,912 followers, with over 14K impressions, and a reach of 4,300. That's almost 300% GROWTH in followers, and from that she has been able to gain new clients, more reoccurring appointments, and more exposure. Timberlin's work has been reposted by @ilovemyshorthair, @afrohaircom, @mobhair, @thechoppedmob, @blackhairomg, and @hairvolutionmag. She was even featured as the December stylist of the month on @head2toemag. Timberlin is an amazing stylist specializing in short hair, located in Arlington, Texas. Check out and follow her Instagram and her Facebook page.

@GlaMorEyes.byMiesha launched in fall of 2017 and her business has taken off like a rocket! Miesha Griffin is a professional eyelash extension technician located in North Fort Worth, Texas. She has a growing clientele and her appointment book is filled with repeat customers. SavvynSocial created the GlaMorEyes Facebook and Instagram accounts, the logo, and helped set up the table for a local vendor showcase. In 3 months, GlaMorEyes has over 100 followers on both Facebook and Instagram. Her work has also been reposted by @Head2ToeMag and @IlovemyShortHair.

As the Director of Communications for the Network of Executive Women, North Texas Region, I am responsible for the Social Media, PR, and Membership Committees. Our social media team consists of 2 co-leads and several volunteers to promote our events, messages of NEW HQ, and organizational initiatives. We have been able to increase our overall social media by 22% across all platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).

Be sure to check out the Savvy Events page for a list of events for NEW North Texas in 2018!

The power of social media is a pretty amazing tool that can be used to help grow your business, reach additional customers, and ultimately increase your sales. 2017 has been great, and looking forward to 2018, SavvynSocial will be hosting Social Media Bootcamps for local business' to better engage their audience. These events will also be posted on the Savvy Events page.

The new year brings new ideas and new growth.... so let's prosper in 2018!! #LetsGetSocial #SavvynSocial
